Premenstrual Syndrome ( P M S )

-menstrual means before menstrual, and refers to the monthly cycle of the female reproductive system. Syndrome is a group of symptoms or complaints which regularly come prior to or during menstruation, but are absent during other times of the cycle.

Some symptoms you should know about are:
Painful headaches
Soar body
Moody attitudes
Back pain
Bloating
Ovary pains
Cramps
Soar brests
Skin irritations/breakouts

What you should eat and should not eath when you're experiencing PMS:

when you are premenstruating and when you're not, you will probably feel better if you follow basic principles of "good" nutrition. Eat whole grains, nuts and seeds instead of refined sugars and flours. Avoid all beverages with caffeine such as coffee, teas and soda (even decaffeinated). Eat plenty of vegetables and fruits and relatively small quantities of meat, chicken and fish. When hungry between meals, snack on nuts and raisins. Eat several meals a day, if possible, instead of 2 or 3 large meals.
