Ol' Dirty Bastard might be the craziest muthaf**ka
on wax and that's good according to producer Irv Gotti.
"He's got his issues, but he's a true artist, man," Gotti said.
"You don't know what he's going to do, and rap needs that, man.
Dirty is good, Dirty is good."
A fan who plans on purchasing the new album N***a Please
had this to say,
"Dirty is wild, but no wilder than these other crazy ass nigguhs
out here in the streets. We all done seen 'em. His sh*t just makes
headlines."
This will be the second album from the man of many names. Production
will come from RZA, True Master, 4th Disciple,
Irv Gotti, Flava Hood's Big Baby, Neptunes and others.
In addition to the everyday craziness that surrounds O.D.B.'s life,
he now faces accusations of racism. In one verse, Big Baby Jesus
screams, "All you white-ass mother-f**kers, y'all can't ever take
over. You shut the f**k up,"
The artist spoke of that particular track last week outside a Santa
Monica, Calif., courtroom, where he was to appear to answer charges
in a terrorist-threat case. ODB said the song might sound harsher
and more inclusive than he intended.
"I'm not talking about all white people, just those upper-class
[people] who never stepped foot in the ghetto," he explained.
HOT 104.com staff writer, Tha Blunted Child, listened to
selected tracks off the new disc and had this to say,
"The beats are phat and he just says some way out sh*t. That's
classic material... something different. If true heads want to know
what makes this wild ass nigga tick, they better not sleep on this
new joint. Personally, I love that crazy sh*t. He's just letting
his nuts hang"
This reporter just hopes the mainstream media doesn't try and chop
them off.
N***ga Please is available in stores now.
